The Gian Luca suits are about $1200. Correct... Certainly not $3500.

From this thread, it looks kind of like the Cantarelli tag, but who knows. Big (46-48r) wool canali SB overcoat for sale, currently at only $40 with 9 hours left - link

Best item I ever bought from Parisvegas http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330211228908 Looks awful in photo and he had it listed for several weeks with starting bid of $125. No takers. Bought Sun, he shipped Tues (Mon was holiday) and I received Thurs. It looks like it might have been worn once or twice, is a very current Gibbons and has a lovely hand. Working button holes. If this guy's business model even called for a "parisvegas couture" auction with better pictures, he could probably have gotten several hundred dollars for it-- maybe more if a freier came along (freier=sucker in Yiddish and Israeli street slang). Meanwhile, I'm thrilled with it. Came, as everything else from him, very wrinkled but nothing that my steamer can't fix.

No, that's not Cantarelli. Take a better pic of the label and we can tell you. GetSmart is the resident Paul Smith expert.

That's a good pick up but I doubt he could have gotten severl hundred for it. It's hard enough to get several hundred for a NWT Oxxford.

Dior:

Both suits have the same dated style (lowwww button stance with wide lapels). Both made in USA (the Dior one made by Hart Schaffner Marx back in the 80s when Dior licensed goods are everywhere akin to YSL; not sure about the Burberry one, but most likely by Hickey Freeman to HF Limited standards: fused construction).

If you like the style, the Burberry one is not bad; I don't think the Dior is a good deal at all.

I'm not crazy about it. It doesn't seem to have any shape.
