Seems to me the Harris is the better choice. In fact, I just purchased a Harris in cognac to go with my new Cesar Attolini for the fall. I'm a newbie with fine shoes but all the threads I've read about shoes confirmed my purchase of the Harris.

The Armani shoes are nothing special. The Harri's are much better.

Harris shoes
Re: bidding war. I think a buy limit of $150 would be around fair market value. I have a hard time bidding on shoes without last information or previous experience.

It might help you in your bidding to know that Harris is not that well known and thus there may not be competitive bidding war to contend with. I also concour about the $150 limit.

I would personally go with neither of those particularly, but I like the styling of the Armani a bit better, not too crazy about Harris shoes in general.

Ok, now I am getting confused. Could you explain the vero cuiro opinion? Also, I like the styling of the Armani shoes more also but quality is quality and i don't want to buy something that is more expensive that is of lower quality. I asked the seller of the Harris to send me some pictures in natural light. That should help my assessment. Thanks for your opinions.
