Gentlemen Summary of long story, basically I sold a pair of shoes on eBay and due to delays in shipping which was not in my control, the buyer started a case against me and eBay decided in his favour despite me having provided tracking number and three days after 'forced' refund from my paypal account, tracking clearly shows the shoes were delivered. Contacted buyer and of course, radio silence from him. Call eBay and all they say is I can't appeal for such cases (what can we appeal then?!) and they inform they've sent a message to the buyer asking for cooperation but obviously NOTHING is happening. Just to shed more light: - I'm currently based in Singapore hence the slight confusion on the entire tracking system. And there was indeed a week long customs delay but this isn't something within my control and I sent screen capture of tracking on the local Singapore post service tracking showing clearly item was sent along with the receipt - Buyer is located in Minnesota (yes miles away so I can't just appear at his doorstep and punch the guy for his lack of integrity) eBay customer service said give him a week to respond but now I've waited a week and I'm losing my cool now cause I just received an eBay invoice charging me their fees for this sale. So now what: - I give the buyer a free pair of shoes; - I actually pay 50 bucks shipping to give away a free pair of shoes; and - I pay eBay 15 bucks for a failed transaction. This is seriously annoying the hell out of me. I'm not so hard up for the 160 bucks I'm owed (thank god I was only selling my unwanted magnanni's and not my C&Js). What would you guys do?
