Is it possible to set up a notification so that when something you want is listed, Ebay emails you. So like, I set it so every time "Purple Label xs" in the title is listed, it will email me?

Thanks

try this link http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...e=STRK:ME:LNLK i should have been more specific: create a search: http://search.ebay.com/ws/search/AdvSearch?sofindtype=1 and then you can save it as a favorite search and set ebay to email you every time something is listed.

Yes. It's called saving a "favorite search."

Do the search, save it as a favorite. Then you can set notification options.

I think that if you set up a new search, when you save the search criteria on of the options is to get email notification when new items falling within the search criteria are listed.

I have about a million favorite searches saved, and it makes my life much easier. Just make sure to refine your search as much as possible. It gets old getting an e-mail every day containing stuff you don't really want -- particulary when a seller relists the same crappy item over and over.

If you use a sniper like JbidWatcher - you can have multiple searches done at various time scales (every week, day, hour).

I noticed today that eBay offers text messaging for "end of auction" or outbids. That's pretty cool!

For DocHolliday and the other avid Ebay Searchers. Do you search titles only or whole descriptions?

I've tried it both ways. Whole descriptions will get you a lot more search hits, but its possible to get a gem by searching the whole description!
