Here in the UK at least there are a number of events in the social calendar where it's beneficial to have a set, and it's still worn at plenty of daytime weddings. Certainly at the price they're likely to sell it's the same price as renting a set once.
I'd guess somewhere in the region of $25-30, if it's any less than you paid me I'd refund the difference.
