Good point. Just always wanted a Hermes wallet at a reasonable price. At the same time, I would much rather have black or brown.

I can't discuss that at this time.

That box looks terribly fake. For comparison, a photo of one of my boxes on the left.

Font and logo on the wallet one look off, it's missing the "Fauborg Saint-Honore Paris" underneath, and the box seems to lack the grain of the real one.

Unless of course I've got the fake and the real one is worse made. Or it's a real wallet in a fake box. Depends on how benefit of the doubty you want to get.

The last thing I bought directly from Hermes only had "Paris" below the logo. Good call on the grain texture, though.

Id say the edges of the wallet arent good enough to be Hermes, though the stitching is reasonable. Try the PurseBlog forum, they have a section dedicated to authenticating Hermes et al.

Interesting. Should have realized too good to be true. I am hoping to get a used one in the $150 to $200 range. Something like this but in black or brown. Just wanted to mention in case someone has one they want to sell. (that is authentic of course).

The typeface looks off as well—the letters seem condensed. The authentic box also has the horse and carriage lined up with brand name on either end.

I really appreciate this everyone. I should have known too good to be true. Is it possible to get a used one in the $150-200 range in black or brown. Sorry i I have posted in the wrong category. I am glad I asked the question.

Looks fairly legit, but of course there is no guarantee. Most fakes are going to be sold as new, not in second hand condition as this one. I say legit . ..
