Here’s a few from my recent trip to Palermo. Cloth is a 14oz linen that I got from Sultan’s in Toronto and will be made up to a DB that can roll to either the middle or bottom button. Crazy soft stuff, but a bit more prone to wrinkles than W Bill.

First fitting. Jacket will be lengthened, shoulders extended with rollino, and the lapel a bit lower - it’ll point directly at the shoulder seam.

Second fitting: trousers are done but upper thigh will be let out so that the pleats close a bit.

What are your thought on Sultans? Can you provide deets on the fabric?

I heard he also carries Tom Ford end-bolt shirting. Don't know if that's true though.

I’ve gotten several lengths of cloth from them, and am happy so far. Most are no-name and brandless, but I like them. Arrigo made up a wool/cashmere gun club that drapes nicely. I have another length of mid-blue 14oz linen that is unfunded for now. Can’t speak of their shirtings; I’ve no experience with them.

At the time, it was €500, but the price may have changed since then.

Actually? The value seems to be great what about the handwork? Was there any fusing in the jacket?

Fabric I picked up from Tip Top (Brooklyn) and is summer weight from VBC.
    Jacket is partially lined.
I left all details other than 2 button patch pocket to the tailor.

Kind off topic, is Paul Stuart custom true bespoke, who do they use?

While pictures do not always tell the full story, I would not be very happy with this as my first order - the shoulders look problematic, amigo.
