lol... thanks for the help guys. now i have to decide whether to get the filson or wait for the fillmore. i tend to prefer loose (but not baggy) fit jeans

Get the Filsons.  (Hey, 30% off is 30% off, use code "luckymag") for Goclothing.com.  They are slim, but unless you are a 100 meter sprinter, they are not too slim (and remember that 1) I like jeans loose too, and 2) Rigid denim will stretch out over time more than washed and rinsed denim.) You can always get the Fillmores later...  It is always a good time to indulge.  Unless you're completely broke.  Then it's Mac and cheese time.

Geeting back to the few post above, what's the attraction of wearing jeans really low for a male? Like some members say, it just make your legs look short if you aren't careful in coordinating the rest of your outfit.

for me personally i just find it more comfortable wearing my jeans low on the waist

Wearing your jeans lower makes your legs look shorter and your hip:waist ratio look lower.

In other words, it looks more masculine.

I would look like a brick house if I wore jeans up at my naval.
