Been considering a new pair of denim for a while and I think that with the way my style is turning, sticking to something American will fit my pieces. Been looking at the Earnest Sewn Patriot jeans, but can't find them anywhere. A styleforum search shows that people were getting them for under $50 during the summer! Two questions...

1. Is this pair available anywhere outside the Earnest Sewn website or eLuxury? I'd hate to pay $150 when they've been selling at $50.

2. Sizing: I'm wearing a 32 in RRDS and they've stretched considerably...so much so that I'm now on the last hole in my belt (I've also lost a little weight and intend to lose a little more). I've heard that the Patriot's don't stretch too much, and also that Earnest Sewn sizing is a little different. Would I still take a 32W in these, or a 33?

mod: can you please add "Patriot" after the word "Fulton" in the title? Thanks!

Patriot is the name of the wash, Fulton is the name of the jean, I think.

Anyway, rather than look for them at a store, I think you are better off looking on ebay. These were clearanced at places like Bloomies so a lot of people bought them to resell. I have seen them end pretty steadily for $40-80 on feebay. Also, there are no fakes as far as i know, so you dont have to worry about that.

As far as sizing, I think they are slightly looser than the listed waist. My 31s have stretched to about a 31.5 or 32 now. I wear a belt with them.

Lastly, you should look for both Fulton and Filson, they are the same jean from different years. I believe the Filson is from 2004 has orange thread while the Fulton is from 2005-06 and has green threads.

Yes, I know that, I guess I made the assumption that the other knowledgeable posters on this forum did not need me to write "Earnest Sewn Fulton Patriot denim" every time I referenced the jeans. I guess I'll spell things out from now on.

the cheapest that I can get it online is $119 + shipping at scoop nyc...i'm hesitant to grab that because I'm sure that if I keep hunting my size will come up. any advice?

also, any more input on the sizing of the Fulton Patriots? like I've said, I bought my RRDS in a 32, and they've stretched out a lot by this point. Plus I'm losing weight. But I've heard that the Fulton runs really slim. anyone?
