they are not factory prints --

I have two paintings by the same painter
- both in those light yellow, tan, tones......

one is a nude woman on her side from waist up
- no big eyes
and the other is a young boy sitting against a solid background
with a peace symbol hanging around his neck.....
big eyes...


ever find anything? -- i was told, by an art dealer
from whom i bought them both,
who owned an art store, that it was early work
of a famous artist that was done early in his years
to make money for basic living purposes....

while disguising the real name which was applied
to the famous paintings of American Indians..... that were painted by the same painter

- that's all i've got

I am also looking for information about the original painter. My mother purchased one of his paintings in the early 70's from a gallery in central Indiana. She had found the real name of the artist years ago, and has since lost it.

I think that guy just got flagged by the spam filter for the moderation queue...so he kept posting since he wasn't seeing his own posts showed up. Then when a mod looked at his post and thought it looked real, they approved his account and all of his posts went through.

Sure hope someone finds some info on this E.Ward guy though...

I found the artist of some random etching I bought at a thrift shop on facebook. She's an old lady now but it was nice to find her and exchange a brief message. Doesn't make the piece more rare or valuable, but it was fun.
