Haha, good catch. That actually made it harder as I'm liking the the one I didn't prefer more when seeing it in an outfit while still being drawn to the initial one. Which are you going with?

Seeing them on these pictures the pc2509 actually. You know the one you are going with?

I like the spacing and arrangement of florets of 2509 better. I generally prefer more of the field to show--to my eye it makes the tie a little easier to pair and less energetic.

But I've also found that I tend to prefer neats with two colors of florets, which leans in the direction of 3085. 2509 might get a little monotonous over time, in comparison.

On balance, I'd probably opt for 3085, but I'd really want a combo of the two.

I have been looking at that challis on the right for months. Sometimes I don’t want to gamble on the bad site pics. Couldn’t tell if it was neon green or sky blue or what. Looks really nice here. Might be a little late in the year for challis but if you wear it will you post a quick pic of it?

I'm still not sure. I'm really having a tough time making up my mind. I like both for different reasons. I'd get both if it wasn't a redundancy.

Now that you're saying it, I think this is what's drawing me towards 2509. The s p a c i n g. While I, just like you, prefer two colors of florets, I get the impression that 3085 is a tad to busy for a great casual non-suit look while still looking OK-ish in a casual environment. I think 3085 would get more wear if you factor in suit combinations because of versatility, while 2509 would be more noticeable while worn and would stand out/make a statement. That being said; still undecided. I just have to make up my mind in which environment I'm planning on wearing the tie.

From my latest Cappelli haul.
Great hauls, gentlement.

The one on the right is a burgundy base. The florets are mostly dusty blue with maybe a hint of green--I'd have to get it in direct light to make sure. But it's very subdued, not neon at all. Patrizio's more recent photos seem to have the contrast or brightness cranked up quite a bit. Maybe you already know, but if you email him, he'll usually send you an iPhone pic of a fabric, which while not accurate either, will give you something to check against the store photo.

Finally made up my mind. Grabbed the following three ties:
- https://www.patriziocappelli.it/shop/madder-ties-pc2749/
- https://www.patriziocappelli.it/shop/madder-ties-pc2400/
I was on the fence on this one as well, but resisted: https://www.patriziocappelli.it/shop/twill-silk-ties-pc3046/
I was afraid it would be to green. I prefer a muted green (forrest/moss green).

Also grabbed two other Cappelli ties for Exquisite Trimmings:
- https://exquisitetrimmings.com/coll...wn-tile-print-silk-tie?variant=37283224912035

(Speaking of Shibumi earlier, they had some great ties as well! Couldn't resist two of them.)

Nice picks! I love Shibumi as well, but "unfortunately" can only pick from the bespoke section. From there regular tie section 147cm is too short and 160cm too long for me.

Pictures of my lasted Cappelli order. This order including my first to own white ties.
