How does everyone like their wool challis ties? How does the tie knot in relation to his regular silk ties? I also like the vibrancy of most silk ties, and concerned the patterns and color of the wool ties may not be sharp.

Seems some new stock is up! Not to much of the new section has my personal interest though, but I have still have enough to find in the old stock/classics I attached some pictures of my last order, there not the best quality but maybe it helps. Wool ones are 3 fold light lining, regular silk ones 3 fold normal lining.

First time I had the chance to order from Patrizio. Just had these 2 beauties come in. I couldn't be happier. And Patrizio is awesome. I cant wait to place another order soon.

One year and 15 days ago. I left two days before the lockdown in Italy started. I bought a few at the shop and ordered some from the bins of fabric he has laying around. There are so many end of bolt with enough for one or two ties sitting around the shop I could have spent days looking.

Interesting question. I had my eye on the same two ties for my next order and the same idea as you to pick one ?.

So pc3085 has blue and green details, making it possibly easier to match with more pocket squares and similarly coloured suits. The pc2509 has something subtly bold, imagine it with a blue linen suit, drinking a refreshing beverage on a sunny afternoon.

If I had to pick only one, I would pick the more coloured one pc3085.

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one having to decide between these. They're both beautiful and I'm arguing the same way as you do with myself. If versatility is a priority, then definitely 3085. But there's something bold and conspicuous yet intricate with 2509. I'm also liking the fact that 2509 seems to be a darker brown/chocolate shade than 3085 (from what I can tell from the pics).

2509 is significantly more casual than 3085. It comes down to the outfits that you'd imagine yourself wearing them with.

Thanks, that's interesting. Mostly SCs. There's something with 2509 that's speaking to me, but I can't put my finger on what exactly.

3085 is a pretty standard neat pattern.
2509 is definitely a more unusual/distinctive pattern. Maybe sleep on it and see whether you feel the same about it in a week or so.
