dust covering suit

I accidentally stored my suit without putting it in a garment bag and now its got dust on it. is it ok to clean using a regular lint roller?

I don't have a good clothes brush and I need to use my suit soon. I'm guess a lint roller isnt optimal but will it damage my suit?

it shouldn't (at least not with minimal use and assuming you are talking about a typical wool garment), but you might as well get a brush.
