I was in an off 5th outlet yesterday, and saw many Dunhill suits.
They were all cut fairly slim, fused, and had no pic stitching or other embellishment. I think they were selling for $400 or so, but I can't remember exactly. They had Zegna-style "Made in Switzerland" labels as well.

I thought Dunhill suits were all canvassed and Made in Japan. Perhaps these are older and all fused, like the "Z" Zegna line?
The fabric was unimpressive, but the cuts were pretty nice.

What are the different Dunhill lines, and how are they regarded?

thanks

The made in Japan Dunhill suits are fused and basically mediocre-to-junk in quality. I have seen many of the Japanese Dunhills and not one of them was canvassed.

I believe the made-in-Switzerland ones are made by Zegna under contract, but I'm not sure of that.
