Have we ever had a thread about the swedish brand Dunderdon? Their minimalist style appeals to me, but I'm thinking that the cuts are not very slim. Does anyone here own any Dunderdon pieces? What are your opinions? also is there anywhere to get it online other than aforementioned official site? Because I'm pretty sure they have a much bigger line than what's listed there.

I've never heard of them, but after looking at their web site, I'm not overly impressed. I prefer clothing with a little more color. And as you mentioned, their cuts don't look very slim so it makes it more difficult to layer their pieces underneath something more appealing.

I've tried on several of their jackets and hoodies before. The jackets were cut pretty big. I remember a size small being too big on me - I'm 5'8" 125lbs. Hoodies were more true to size, and the material was very thick and sturdy. The quality and look of everything was on point though if you're into the understated utilitarian style. Prices are very good as well.

yeah that's kind of what I was looking for. I like basic and sturdy pieces, and these seemed reasonably priced.

I was hoping the cuts would be fairly slim, though

A lot of their outerwear looks pretty cold-weather-appropriate; I'm not surprised it doesn't fit slim.

I tried on a J44 jacket (short waxed cotton zip jacket) quite awhile back, though, and it fit pretty true (I tried a L, and it fit like a 42 jacket in the shoulders).

Speaking of which, anyone seen that jacket for sale? I tried it on at Urban Outfitters, but I never saw it on their site. I was hoping it might go on sale.

Actually, I have a Dunderdon J-25 and I can say that the cut is quite flattering, at least to me, and I am barely a 36 chest. As a matter of fact, I own a polo, formerly the property of Ott, and it is a bit big on me. The Dunderdon J-25 is not. Perhaps its only this jacket, but it seems to fit very true to size, or perhaps even a little smaller.
