I stopped by the melrose duncan quinn store and they were having a sale on their suits, down to 1100ish I think. Is this a good price point for them? How much better is it compared to something like a Canali which I can usually find for 450.

Also, they still have a lot of s/s shirts on sale at $100, probably like 10 of them left in size 15. I picked up 4 myself. I think the quality is superb at that price, as they have nice and thick MOP buttons, single needle stitching, with very soft cotton fabric, and very interesting patterns. The fit is surprising, as I found it to be a bit baggy at first, but after the first wash (warm water) it shrank by quite a bit and now fits pretty much perfect, which is hard for me as I have a 39 inch chest and 27 inch waist.

Their f/w shirts are pretty slick to, but I think they switched to using plastic buttons or something, unless you can dye MOP red and gray. The sales clerk said they would be on sale around May/June, which I think I will make another trip down for.

$1100 is a good price considering they're $2200 normally

I have a few of his dress shirts I got last winter for about $75-85 (down from 250) and the fit/fabric is really great on them. Mine don't have MoP buttons, they're thick but I'm nearly positive they arent MoP. maybe he's changed since then.

The back of the buttons have a white face with red dots... so it could be trocha. Actually, now that you mention it, maybe its only has s/s line that has mop buttons, while has f/w line is plastic. As his f/w has a darker color tone, so mop would look weird against it.

Also, I just found out about your own line, it's really slick, if I knew about it beforehand i would have tried to stop by.
