I'd like to know too though, doesn't have to be slim fitting.

STP has Gloverall's for $199.

Add the 20% code (51112) and use Google checkout for an extra $20 off and you end up at $139.

Now if someone can point me to a US source for short duffle coat (like the Japanese Avirex) or a hoodless short coat (hitting waist to mid-thigh) with toggle closure, I'd be most happy.

Most duffle coats run a bit large because they're built to go over other clothing like sweaters, jackets, etc.

I have a brown one that's slim in the sense that it's not sack-like. It may or may not be the so-called Original model. Of course, it's no Slimane slim if that was what the poster was looking for.

I had one made for me, in a wedge shape. One of my favorite, everyday garments, during cold weather. I find a wedge to be much more comfortable to wear and to sit in, than a very strict, straight line cut.

I think if you want it slim to go down two sizes. STP has a great return policy. You could buy two different sizes and return the one which doesn't fit. FWIW - I wouldn't go the ebay route if you've never tried on a Gloverall.
