1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks for sharing with us, OP - I find your attention to detail pretty impressive for what the medium is.

I also think it's absolutely silly the negative responses that are so disproportionately punitive to what the apparent infraction he made by posting his craft here.

    pretty cool, op.

i wouldn't personally carry one, but I would consider buying one to give as a gift.

oh, and i think that black and white one is probably the best one yet in terms of showing your skill- I bet my gf might like it (sorry if it was meant to be a mans wallet)

Yeah start doing some Bottega style stuff with leather and you might open up your market a little.

Well obviously most of the members were not going to be impressed BUT I think it is impressive that you can do that. I had a DuckTape wallet in grade school, I thought it was cool.

    Yes

Thanks for all the feedback. I would love to try to make something of leather.

all you fegs need to shut the f up, probably can't even clip your own nosehairs let alone make something by hand. these are impressive.

    Really?

Then why in your first post did you immediately invite people to contact you if they are interested and then go on to state you can personalize them, etc? It seemed to me a pretty clear "Hey, here's some stuff I make. Contact me if you want to buy".

"Get ideas and opinions"? Really. HERE. In THIS forum?

It's one thing that they are fugly and that a cursory review of this forum would have made it clear that they would not be well-received in this forum.....but to try to skirt forum rules to peddle goods and then to try to backtrack when you got called out on it....simply dishonest. You might get a few sales off this, but you probably lost out on even more (or maybe not, this is so not the right audience for this product) by not playing by the rules that the rest of the members who sell abide by.

You seem to have some creativity. Perhaps if you considered using leather or some other reasonable material other than duct tape (the duct tape creations will get nastier over time), you might find a wider audience for your wares.
