Hi all I have this UE x Sophnet shirt that says it is non-washable, and that it is dry cleanable using only a petroleum based agent. Now the problem is that no dry cleaners in my country uses petroleum based agents, so I'm wondering would other agents seriously damage the shirt? Or could I even just drop the garment into my frontloader and switch to delicate/cold and handwash mode? Cheers. It says shell: 65% polyester 35% cotton btw. It's also a pure white shirt. Here's a picture of the care label: http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/3269/dsc02912.jpg

How could no local cleaners use petroleum-based products? If that somehow is correct, then try washing it by hand, in the sink, with a fabric shampoo.
