1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

I just picked up a pair of Italian made PRL cotton pants. It says that they are dry clean only. To me, this seems odd for a pair of cotton pants. Are they ok to wash (cold water, gentle cycle, air dry) or should they be dry cleaned as the label says?

I recommend dry cleaning. I have a few pairs of RLPL cotton pants. I hand washed and air dried one of them. It shrunk slightly and the texture/drape hasn't quite been the same since.

Corduroy is often dry-clean only. I've not found any twill trousers that aren't washable at home.

I bought a pair of RLPL track pants on B&S a while back. They were marked as dry-clean only [IMG]

I've seen "Dry Clean Only" cotton pants from BB. On inquiry, BB told me that they had been labeld that way as they had not been treated not to shrink but that they would probably be OK to wash them gently in cold water and then air dry them.
