Some communication would be nice. All their shipping information are listed well enough and no duties/imports are mentioned. I've never got this issue with other HK/SG/SEA vendors, and whether they can do anything at all, a response to any customer's enquiry isn't too much of a demand.

Hi there,

We are sorry we missed your massage on Instagram.
The best way to contact us is email [email protected]
We normally would reply within 2 working days.

We're sorry to hear you were charged duties on your item. If you are shipping outside of Hong Kong, you may be subject to customs and duties charges. These charges can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

Sorry for the inconvenience and the extra expense. For more information about our shipping and customs policy, please see this link.

Usually anything over $800 will be subject to duties/taxes. Doesn't matter from where. Some carriers are less prone to be hit with customs though, like EMS from Japan. DHL is almost guaranteed to be hit.

also, what matters is the date of import, not the date of order sadly...EDIT: btw. even goods from Italy, according to a Tax & Duty calculator for "Fashion" into the US would have been 487.20 USD. Site did not have HK, but the trade deals seems irrelevant here.

that's for coming from EU only right? personal experience wise, anything that use national postal service (which means usually end up delivering by USPS once they land to US) are usually less likely to get hit for whatever reason...

Do you have some date to ship using the lowest shipping method again? I see in the HK Post site that my country is fully operable by it. I'd like to make a first purchase with some low priced items, but shipping costs are killing me at the moment.

Sorry, we do not have any indications when things will resume normally unfortunately. As HK Post service is still a bit unstable at the moment. A lot of delay coming from the post office side since there have limited flights during this period.
I understand that this is frustrating. Hopefully things will back to normal soon.
