Driving moc choice

So im looking for a reasonably priced pair of driving mocs.I have been looking around and know that there are 2 styles: penny loafer and then the plain front.I was wondering what you guys think looks better with jeans?

i think which one looks better depends a lot on your age. for instance, i'm 22 and wouldnt be caught dead wearing a penny loafer at a bar. let alone anywhere else really.

^thats the thing.Im 21,i think the penny loafer look better,but think the other would be more accepted by others,i guess would be the easiest way to explain that

when i think of a penny loafer, the first thing that comes to my mind is an old man sitting in his office at work. i'd say the plain mocs would be a better choice but in the end it's up to you.

I'd go with the penny loafer, I have the J.Crew version and I love them

For me, the penny loafer invokes images of old men and pleated khakis with the polo shirt tucked in and a braided belt. YMMV.

if you like J.Crew, why don't you check our their plain front driving mocs?
