Driving me nuts - windowpane trouser quest...

So on my last trip back home I visited the Zara (shock horror!) in my hometown and found a pair of brown cotton windowpane trousers. Slim, almost cut like casual trousers, the inner side of the fabric was white windowpane. I really like them but I think due to their dye application they are fading fast. Does anyone have any leads for some nice lightweight windowpane trousers that can be dressed up or down? Wool would be nice

I'm a big fan of Banana Republic pants for nice, pretty slim fitting, relatively inexpensive wool trousers.

Thanks. Doc, there are not really that many decent menswear shops here - well, there is pretty much one but will not have this stuff in stock.
Odoreater, I have not seen anything in windowpane over at BR in the past; do they stock such things now?

I can't speak about high end pants but on the low end LE has some blue ones, I'm sure JAB has some, and the charcoal one pictured below is from Kuhlman.

Glen plaid could work. As for pleats, I'd prefer flat front but if they are slim enough I could live with them. I have scrawny legs though. I even took in some cotton Incotex I just got to have the legs narrowed a bit

Got these bad boys at BR a couple weeks ago (from the WAYW thread):

Yeah, I would have waited for a sale myself, but I tried them on once, they fit really well off the rack and I really liked the pattern, but I put them down thinking they would go on sale. Next time I visited that particular BR they were sold out in my size. So, when I went to a different BR that still had my size, I just picked them up at full price. I don't regret it either, they're worthwhile even at the $95 I paid for them.

I kinda like both of them. The original owner appears to have been quite the beanpole.
