I'm looking to class up my shoes a bit since my day-to-day shoes are either a pair of varvatos converse with jeans, or a pair of topsiders with chinos/shorts, so i figured a nice loafer would be a good investment for chinos and shorts at least (I may be the only one but i personally think loafers or boat shoes look somewhat out of place with jeans, so I'm already decided on getting Clark's to fill that role). I was wondering what you guys think about driving loafers? and whether or not plain old loafers look better? I was looking at a couple different ralph lauren Drivers

They also make the terrys with a plain leather strap... anyway, what do you guys think? driving or regular?
