Got my first shirt from Dries after admiring his work for a while. I love the fit and pattern on it. Does anyone know anything about the fabrics he uses? I've heard that the fabrics are really the basis for his work and that he expends a lot of effort into selecting them, but the fabric on this one seems usually thin and delicate.

His shirts are almost always without exception very thin and delicate. Even in winter collections.

Looks great. Did you get it? MAC is around the corner from me, but I've been too busy to stop by.

Yep! Picked it up and it fits pretty well off the rack. You have to check it out! Chris (girl) was really helpful

FWIW, it runs large. I have a 32 in the tan suede and it could easily fit a 36 waist.

Thanks for the sizing advice. Picked up the 32 in the tan suede as well.

If anyone knows where I might find the floral one above in 32, let me know! Realize it's late in the season, but hoping.

I ended up finding the jacket I was looking for, but in an XL. Thoughts on the sizing? In terms of sleeve length it looks pretty spot on with models from shops but it probably fits a bit loose in the body compared to how it should look.

a short interview with DVN about his new exhibition: "Simply titled Inspirations, the show just opened at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, offering an all-encompassing glimpse into the visual world of Dries Van Noten."
Dries, if you're reading Styleforum, pm me. I can help you understand the beauty of jazz. Maybe we hit a couple clubs in Paris.
