Hi All:

I am looking to pick up a couple of dressy T's, particulary a black T. I was wondering about RLPurple Label. I own several pieces, but no Ts. How do their Ts fit?  snung or loose?  It means do I get a large or a medium? Any other suggestions for a nice dressy looking black T?

It would be hard to beat Hanro in quality or apperance.
Yeah - I know - I'm predjudiced and that this is a blatant advertisement. However, there is NO t-shirt that even comes close to a quality comparison with the Zimmerli Pureness MicroModal & Lycra. Certainly not the Hanro division of Jockey.

Pureness is made to be worn as outerwear. MicroModal is a relatively new miracle fabric made of 100% cellulose. The fiber is SO fine that 10,000 meters weighs under 1 gram.

Mr. Kabbaz, You've mentioned those shirts before and I have been thinking abount buying one or two. Are they difficult to care for?

Why, his own website of course. The link is at the bottom of all his posts. Alex, no finder's fee required.

Are these Kabbaz t-shirts bespoke, MTM or RTW?

l am after quality RTW t-shirts. To far to travel for bespoke or MTM.

How much are the Kabbaz t-shirts?
(l'm sick of paying extroadinary prices for Gucci t-shirts).

No. Wash warm. Tumble dry no heat or line dry. Wearing one now. Yummmmm.

I am a Zimmerli distributor. I don't normally offer items here on SF, but I have been so totally enthralled with this Pureness line since it was released last May. I have gotten absolutely nothing but raves (and re-orders) from every client who has tried them. One old, highly regarded member of SF said it best: "It's like wearing a cloud." Thanks amirrorcrackd. ... and no, they are not bespoke. We're just having trouble keeping them in stock. I guess that's because I keep taking them for myself.

And there's a new color being released soon: Notte (midnight blue) ... and a thong ... and a tanga ... and a v-neck. Ahhh - life is good. Whatever shall I wear today?

I own a RLPL t-shirt in white that I purchased for $25 on Bluefly ($95 retail), its very lightweight, and has kept its sheen after a few washes, alas they are now in the insane range of $115-$125 and I really don't know if they are worth it. I like mine, but I hardly use it, opting instead to use several $20 GAP tee's that I purchased for $8.95 each, either way no one but me really can tell the difference.

Not sure what a "dressy T" is, but I'd recommend James Perse, C&C California, or American Apparel.  My favorite T's are made by Rogan and PDC, but probably not what you're looking for...

Don't know about RLPL, but I can say that the Hanro T's are very nice; still, I definitely wouldn't wear them as an "outer" garment; for me, the collar sits too low... My favorites are made by Pal Z. -- pricey but nice. If you're not looking to spend that much, I quite like Faconnable makes a T (and I quite like the pocket they put on theirs...).
