1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Your suggestion makes too much sense of what I'm being asked to do, which I refuse to acknowledge as sensible, so I'm going to ignore it. Thank you. [IMG]

Your deliberate lack of sense in following the sensible makes too much sense for me to question your sense. Bravo. [IMG]

Generally at home I rock out with my cock out. Maybe you should do that?

Regardless of what you decide, I think this is just fantastic. As soon as you know what day it's to be on, let us know. I'll set the DVR.

I have none of these things, but I'm willing to throw on a robe and hold an open can of Diet Coke. Yes, no?

No, a Diet Coke is too youngish. Just remove your jacket and bring along a makeshift opium pipe . . .

    "Go away, I am lounging . . ."

    Team Napoli track suit? [IMG]

Does this mean you're the winner?! Or will there be a Today show walk-off with that other guy?

I always imagined you lounging in your Rubinacci dinner jacket with your polished John Lobbs.

In all seriousness, you're competing against DanT. He's going to show up in shorts, some horsebit loafer, and some shirt with the sleeves rolled up. You need to show your fun side.

Maybe they're worried that your "screen" clothes will be too delicate and precious for whatever else they've got planned.

Or, more likely, they're worried that you're worried about your precious stage clothes. Did you tell them about your $5000 jackets?

Also, remember this will be the most recorded show in the history of SF. Do the forum proud.

Uh, for someone who doesn't watch the Today show, what time? For the first time ever, I will watch something other than CNBC in my office, specifically to see Foo's interpretation of a lounge outfit.

On what day is the segment?

When will we be viewing this joyous event?

September 2 (Wednesday), some time during the 9 o'clock hour--or so I'm told.

LK, I could never pull this off. I know you could, which makes me sad about being me.

Same outfit for both your segment and the afterparty.

I think the lounging is to be done before going on stage, but I'm not sure.

Wear whatever it is you sleep in.

You want me to appear nude?

Generally at home I rock out with my cock out. Maybe you should do that?

You want me to appear partially nude?

Does this mean you're the winner?! Or will there be a Today show walk-off with that other guy?

No, we're all appearing, and we were each asked to wear two different outfits. However, there is going to be some sort of walk-off. I didn't sign up for that sort of thing, but here I am. I don't think they know I'm child-sized.

In all seriousness, you're competing against DanT. He's going to show up in shorts, some horsebit loafer, and some shirt with the sleeves rolled up. You need to show your fun side.

    'Fun'? That's like smiling, right?

Should I flash a secret sign? If I can, I will mention 'iGent' in conversation--that'll show the Wikipedia folks what's what.

I'd really like to thank iammatt for inspiring me. I've always looked up to him. I also want to thank my wonderful parents, lovely wife, and vox.
