I am facing the problem that I need shoes in a rather uncommon width; depending on the manufacturer we are talking size 10.5 - 11 with at least EEE width.

Does anyone know a store that carries those shoes?

I live between Greensboro and Burlington, NC
Travel monthly to Raleigh and every few months to Richmond.

Thank you.

Have you checked out Allen-Edmonds? www.allenedmonds.com They happen to have a factory store in Burlington - click on the store locator at the bottom of their home page. The Park Avenue is generally regarded as a good dress shoe to start with, though it runs a bit narrow, so it may not work out for you. Worth trying on anyways.

What about English shoes in a G or better still H width - could they work?

Allen Edmonds makes all their shoes in at least a EEE width. If the factory store doesn't have what you need, you can also order from the web site directly.

Sorry, but I have no idea about the English shoe sizes.

Which stores are you talking about? Thank you.

I'll go back to the store in Burlington and ask if they can order some for me.
