Dress shirts for people with small waists and large chests?

I use to wear slim fitted dress shirts, but after about a year and a half of seriously working out I noticed my shirts don't fit me anymore (they're pulling in the chest area). I'm looking to spend ~$80-130 on new dress shirts. Do you guys have any recommendations? At the moment, my plan is just to get normal fitted shirts that fit my chest and have the armholes and waist taken in.

If it helps, my chest is 39" and my waist is 28".

I'm around a 39 chest 27 waist. Go mtm somewhere. You'll never be happy any other way.

I agree with the responses above. With that size of a difference between a chest and waist size you will struggle to find anything off the rack that will fit well. For example, Thomas Pink do an athletic fit, which is designed for men who workout, but the difference between the chest and waist is typically about five inches. That's not close to your difference of 11 (39-28).

I'm a 43,5 inch chest and a 31 inch waist and I find that Poggianti's most athletic fit (available here: http://www.spiga3.com/en/brands/poggianti/ - All of the shirts should be in that fit) is excellent. Good quality shirts, no real handwork but really good wardrobe staples at a decent price. Highly suggest trying them!

Polo black label dress shirts fit me and I have an even bigger drop. I got mine off eBay for $100 each. For everything else I went to CEGO. Online mtm is a bad idea with that drop.

What makes you say online mtm is a bad idea?
