Quality wise.... is one better than the other? (I understand the fit differences)
Buying 4-5 white dress shirts and wanted to know if the $150 price tag is worth it for Finamores or should I stick to the RLPLs for $100

Supposedly there is a Finamore line with hand attached sleeves and collars, but the very few I have seen look machine made to me. The Purple Label is made by Lorenzini and maybe the buttons and holes are done by hand, but there are machines that make handmade looking buttonholes. I like the fabrics RLPL uses, but I have them altered a fair amount. The sleeves are always short on the Finamore so I can't wear them.

i have a couple of finamores and they are not all built the same, but they both have hand attached sleeves, but not collars, and machine buttonholes, but one has shanked buttons, and the other unshanked buttons but double-thick MOP, rather than plastic buttons. I like the purple label buttons better. both are very nice shirts. fabrics are nice on both but it is a shirt by shirt basis as to which has the nicer fabric.

I would go for Finamore. I just got a bespoke shirt made by them and it is one of the best I have ever owned. The only PL shirts I own are cutaway collars ones and whilst they are nice enought shirts, they really are nothing special.
