You're welcome. Always happy to help fellow forvmites waste their hard earned cash on minimally styled Euro-goods.

are you saying the zipper creeps open because that seems like it would take a long time and be easy to rezip

No, there is a little piece which secures and partly conceals the zipper pull when closed. The concealment slide constantly falls open, which kind of defeats the idea that the zipper head should be unnoticed. Now, not only do you get to see the zipper head flopping around, but also the gaping slide. Here is a pic:

I saw the bag there a couple weeks ago. Amazingly beautiful.

I travel a lot (a couple of times a week, at least) and I'd like a rugged bag that looks good and is utilitarian. Preferably one with compartments that I can remove (so that I need take only one bag on the plane, but I can separate out the laptop portion of it for work/client sites). Of course, removable wheels, lightweight construction and good quality leather would be nice to haves. I've seen a lot, and only one bag has even come close -

That slide thing does seem stupid. Think they'd make one without it?

Is that what you call the magical little world you and Magi hang out in?

Given the owner, I suspect user error.

I think that deviating from the original design ruins it. Nor do I see a reason why the zipper would fall up while carried.
