Crossposted from my "sharing" thread. This is sort of an awesome way to waste a bit of time.

This is actually pretty darn cool.

Draw a house and add it to my street! Ten short questions, and the drawing, and the website attempts to tell you about yourself.

This is what I got:

Based on your drawing and the 10 answers you gave this is a summary of your personality:
You are sensitive and indecisive at times. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. Once you have a problem, you need a friend with you. Your life is always full of changes.

You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You have a strong personality and you like to command, influence and control people.

You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that you long for love. We also see that you are sensuous, sexual, and privately passionate. You don't think much about yourself
Which is pretty darn good, if you ask me.

I'm just about as dull as they come when it comes to architecture. Here's me:
Based on your drawing and the 10 answers you gave this is a summary of your personality: Your house tells the world that you ought to be a leader. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You are shy and reserved. If you've drawn a cross on each of windows, you always want to live alone. Once you have a problem, you need a friend with you. son. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You see the world as it is, not as you believe it should be. You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that you long for love. It also safe to say that others don't see you as a flirt. You are self-confident and happy with your life.

The profile says the same thing as bbaquarian and everybody else's above, except I didn't add any damn flowers.

Geesh, you guys all added these pretty, colorful, nice looking houses. Looking at mine in comparison, it's like I chose to design a bunker or a post office.
Oh well, it's the minimalist in me trying to get out, haha.

There we go, I finally got mine to work. I started off going for art nouveau, but it ended up stucco (not that it's an either-or, but...). I'm just not a good enough artist.

I'm not sure why a big open window is supposed to be a sign that I seek out company. That could not be further from the truth. I just like fresh air. Besides, I have both small and large windows, but that wasn't an option.

Are you kidding? I looked at your (admittedly small) picture and thought "Who the hell is Frank Lloyd Wright over here?"

Looks like everyone drew their homes with etch a sketch. Oh how I miss you, etch a sketch.

Once you have a problem, you need a friend with you. Your life is always full of changes. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. Honestly, it doesn't seem very accurate to my personality.

Small? Hey, it's not the SIZE of your drawing that counts; it's how you use it.
I always thought being an architect would be a really fun job... except maybe not in the current US housing situation. My "ultimate" house, though terribly impractical, would be Mies' "Farnsworth" house. I just think it's almost perfect.

You probably threw it off by drawing your house in perspective.

I toyed with the idea, and decided against it, since I wanted a more modernist house, and I drew it with the joystick on my wireless keyboard.

Woah, no offense meant! Don't get so defensive. Me thinks the gent doth protest too much.

Oh blech. Sorry, but my wife and I just spent a lovely vacation admiring all of Victor Horta's work in Brussels. It's definitely busy art nouveau, art deco, etc. for me. I need the warmth of a home. Those sterile straight lines just turn me off.

Next on the itinerary: Vienna's successionist movement. Sgraffiti!

(j/k) Actually, I think Horta's work is gorgeous and I'm sure I'd be happy living in one like it. BUT, all things being equal, I think the cold straight lines of Mies and the "god is in the details" sort of aesthetic fits most with my personality. Although I DO have a soft spot for Brutalism and Le Corbusier...
