SF is bad on the wallet but great on your wardrobe.

I really want a couple of shantungs but they are all 7cm. If they were 8cm, I would have kopped, I think. Just wish the prices were a little better. $115 plus shipping to the US isn't that great of a sale for a tie I wish were slightly wider.

Pay an extra $35 and get EXACTLY what you want from Will at A Suitable Wardrobe.

You also avoid the lousy customer service of Drake's and the problematic British courie
    r service

Same here. I kopped a square but removed the ties at the last second. They're at an awkward size for me, too wide for my skinny-lapeled stuff but not as wide as I like for my more conservative coats. Shame, because there were some nice patterns in the sale.

Is this the first time that you've used the term, "kopped?"

Foo had assumed I was an old dude. I told him I just dress like that for kicks.

The mad steeze, I got it.

He won't be happy with you until you're in a low gorge 4x1 and fingerless gloves.

I'm still bewildered by the fingerless gloves. I think Foo needs to try out to be a Bond villain.

Many underestimate the dexterity and fingertip motor control needed to grasp an overhead strap in the subway.

(On second thought, that's probably not it.)

Yes: he would be diabolical as a Bond villain, although most of the movie might be Bond and he arguing.

    MFF: Who is your tailor?

Bond: Villain that you are, you wouldn't know that a gentleman does not discuss his women, or his tailor.

MFF: Your lapels are too narrow. Have you considered a lower gorge?

    Bond: Wut?

MFF: Guards! Fetch my red felt pen! I apologize, where are my manners? Would you like a bagel while we wait? I have them submarined in to my undersea lair fresh from Zabar's.

Bond: Are you wearing fingerless gloves?

MFF: Of course! Full fingered gloves within the protected environment of an undersea lair would be preposterous! Ah...here is the pen...let us begin...

I wear fingerless gloves at home in winter because I keep my thermostat so low. It's an eye-tie version of yankee thrift.
