Same with me, discounted drakes is as expensive as full price hobers
All their ties are fantastic and buyable (if thats a word) at 65-75 pounds on sale, that still a lot of $$$. i am selling one right now for $70!
edit: +1 to those who say the website doesn't work... wonder whats up with that!
Most of them didn't go on sale =\. The sale ties are very meh. I wanted to load up on tussahs too!
There was a bunch this morning. I am kinda sad about passing them, but life goes on. The beige silk/linen with the slubby shantung repp was the tits though. I probably would have kopped that, but it was gone by the time I got to confirm anyway.
True, but Drake's has more interesting fabrics.
It's all about foreplay with you, isn't it.
That butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling.
Followed by disappointment ?
This is how I spend most of my time online shopping....HA. Glad I'm not the only one.
Yes, but focusing on the self-restraint instead of the disappointment puts a more positive spin on it.
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who loads up virtual shopping carts and then dumps the contents just before clicking the Complete Purchase button. While I'm shopping I'm usually just thinking about what I want, but when I get ready to pull the trigger I start thinking about what I already own. At the last second I realize that most of what's in my shopping cart mimics stuff I already have in my closet, so I abort the mission.
I'll bet anything we're all lusting after the same tie -- except for HF, of course, who already owns it.
This one, right? http://www.drakes-london.com/sale/8cm-ties/woven-silk-linen-8cm-tie-1706
It was still available when I put it in my shopping cart yesterday, but by the time I finished browsing it was sold out.
Yup, that's the one I have.
i wonder what is worse
a bunch of skiddies sodding a site
or a rush of sf'ers
taking down drakes
Yeah, thats the one.
