1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

URL didn't work for me initially. Try Googling it and clicking through that way. That solved the problem.

EDIT: Server is definitely swamped. Pages take forever to load.

Drake's site always seems to go down when a sale is announced.

Somehow $105 for a ties doesn't scream "sale" to me. During the last sale when they were down to $80 I bought a bunch, but I'm having trouble jumping over that three-digit wall.

+1. Not to mention the personal-time opportunity costs associated with actually trying to stay on the site long enough to purchase. :plain: Perhaps there will be further reductions. In the meantime I'll wait with bated breath.

Remember to deduct VAT (20%) when shipping to the U.S., although their shipping is steep.

+1 Most of their sale ties are 88 bucks American after VAT deduction. But it's a feeding frenzy in there boys. Two of the four ties I selected got sold out from under me while I was dealing with website glitches.

Remember to register and login for the site first with a US address - the site will display the non-VAT prices. Shipping is not expensive - $20 flat rate. Still five ties were not cheap :(

I am pleased to announce I had 5 grenadines and tussahs in my cart, and got down to the last digit in my credit card before I closed the screen and walked away.

All their ties are fantastic and buyable (if thats a word) at 65-75 pounds on sale, that still a lot of $$$. i am selling one right now for $70! [IMG]

edit: +1 to those who say the website doesn't work... wonder whats up with that!

There was a bunch this morning. I am kinda sad about passing them, but life goes on. The beige silk/linen with the slubby shantung repp was the tits though. I probably would have kopped that, but it was gone by the time I got to confirm anyway.
