if you go make sure you peruse the boxes on the table and floor behind the counter (they don't mind) many more squares and scarves, as well as socks

+1

NORE, go. They have so many good ties. Alot of grenadine, mostly striped variations though. Shantung out the wazoo, wools, POW, etc.

Of course its tempting NORE, its the best sale I've seen in NYC in awhile.

It sounds like the only items in limited quantities might be the sportscoats. I grabbed a 44, one size up from my normal 42. The cut was pretty slim and I anticipate wearing it with flannels and perhaps a vneck or crew sweater underneath - the cashmere gave the fabric some heft. The sleeves were very long and had working buttonholes, so alterations will need to be done from the shoulder.

One note on the ties - the grenadines were slim. The owner said it was only a 1mm difference between the thin and non-thin ties (8mm vs 9mm), but it looked like a bigger difference to my eye. That being said, I got a striped grenadine, untipped lining - the patterns and textures really do look nice. I think I'll be wearing it underneath a lot of knits, so I don't think width will matter much. FYI.

Just called the store, working on getting pictures of their SCs, he said they were 275 a piece, I may pick up a couple, such a deal.

Anyone willing to proxy for a SC drop me a PM. Would love a navy or brown SC in 40 or 42 if available...
