1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Not a about ties or scarves but does anyone know where I can get this pocketsquare? Drakes has it online but you have to buy the set. I only want blue/brown and not all three. Thanks.

    Nice colours.

Thank you. I suspected you'd appreciate the brown with the light and dark blue. Next time I should probably try square pics [IMG]

I also contemplated the last one here (dark grey and ecru large glencheck) and the first one here (Antique red, black, vintage white mini tartan check).

And I really like the 5th one here (Cream, red, green and yellow tartan) - though I guess that it might end up being too colorful for my taste IRL.

As for the ties, the few of those I liked in the sale are sold out now (and there's just one of the cashmere designs left) and the ones I had hoped to see put on sale weren't (the solid reppe and the grenadines).

    Did you get anything new?

Ha. Attentive reader (or I just repeat myself too often...).

    Did you get anything new?

No, still trying to get over the fact that someone can buy an item for a lower price than I did...

The glencheck looks very nice. I probably shoud have bought that one in stead of the brown glencheck in lambwool/angora, which is a bit stiff.

Which are your favourite Drakes ties and scarves?

Please post pics, be they your own, someone else's or taken from the Drakes site.

    I'll start with these two:

    [IMG][IMG]

The first is described as a 8 cm Glen Check end on end, the second a 9 cm Prince of Wales check.

Which of the two do you prefer?

The blue tie is off the website. Does that usually means it done or just temporarily out of stock?

Has anybody ordered from the Drakes site with delivery to the US?
How long does Royal Mail generally take?
How long after order submission to the items ship?

When they state international signed for is it direct or indirect signature? Do I need to worry about customs fees?

Check B&S, there may be some things that you want on there, from various sellers. But to answer your original question, I have never ordered from them directly.

I ordered last week - Royal mail usually does not have customs, delivery is usually under 2 weeks. My items shipped the next day. I think its indirect signature.

The 2 ties I ordered last week are waiting for me at the post office. First attempted delivery was 8/4. For timeline I ordered on 7/25 and package was shipped 7/27.
