1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Buyers: please be either one of the following:
    1. active SF members in discussion threads or
    2. good SF B&S feedback or
    3. good ebay feedback.

Beautiful Drake's navy/white herringbone tie, soft hand, beautifully executed hand rolled edges, nice knot, 9cm width. Standard length (guessing 60 inches but will update measurement).

Purchased two years ago from Exquisite Trimmings. With the rust donegal I just sold, was the most I've ever spent on ties. Sometimes, they are worth it. Like that donegal, this is a great tie. I just don't wear it enough (not Tweedy enough for me)! Worn sparingly, great condition. Wearable into spring for sure.

Price includes CONUS shipping, first class with tracking. Price is firm.

I gave this as a gift once. Excellent tie. If I needed a tie, I would mos def get this.

Thanks Fok. It's a great tie, beautifully made and nice cloth. I adhere brutally to a one in, one out rule. Every tie out is one whose loss I rue.

    Updating measurements

3.5 inches by 63 inches. It does seem long but equal in length to many of my Drake's wools which are often listed at 59 inches though I usually end up measuring them as longer. Wool ties are sometimes cut longer as more of the length is taken up in the knot.

The relevant points is that when tied, the knot length is about 1.75 to 2 inches, then 19.5 inches to the tip of the front blade which hits the middle of the belt in mid-rise trousers and leaving an inch between front and back blade with the latter shorter (of course).

If you're interested, just verify that the proportions work for you.
