This coincides very poorly with my solemn vow not to buy any clothes until March. But I must hold the line.

I decided that I could make an exception for Drakes. If I had the discipline, I think it would be a good practice to only buys ties at the Drakes sale.

Do you need me to be your sponsor, or have you already slipped off the wagon?

I dunno about you guys, but I saw at least four ties that I really want, of which two ties I slaveringly covet. But I did not buy them.

I think it was important to face them, though. It was a valuable test of my character, like when Luke Skywalker went into that hollowed out old tree on Dagobah and confronted the vision of his old man.

Can't you ask someone to gift them to you? Ask 4 people and you are done.

I gave in and bought one of the slubby raw silk shantung ties. I've been coveting one since last year, but finally decided to yield to temptation. The Navajo pocket squares are lovely...

I watched the sale this morning, but a cashmere tie was listed 105 pounds.

Is that the sale price or the usual list one?

Really? In my browser still are 105. Do they lower them in the future? And grenadines, how much are now?

Same here, unless we are talking about the 9cm ones - these are indeed 75. Both the navy and grey checked ones in 8cm are listed under the Sale tab, but, oddly, at the regular price.

As for grenadines, the striped ones got on sale, from what I have seen.
