I'm looking for some black leather military / combat boots for style reasons... and I want something that is not too chunky. I have some Dr Martens that are cool, but a bit too chunky for the look I'd like to have. I've been looking at a lot of brands and reviews online... but I see a lot of positive and negative reviews and I'm not really sure what to believe. If I'm going to spend $150-$300 on a pair of shoes, I want really good quality that will be comfortable and last a long time. Have to come in 41/42, US11 womens or the equivalent. ones I'm considering: http://www.dmusastore.com/p-2106-triumph-1914-w.aspx http://www.vintageshoecompany.com/Pr...Productid=193# http://www.us.allsaints.com/men/foot...black/mfo400-5 http://www.us.allsaints.com/men/foot...black/mfo956-5 http://www.riverisland.com/Online/me...y-boots-245891. I have a friend who adores her Vintage Shoe Company Molly boot (and says it's really comfortable), but I've seen negative quality reviews on this forum about their shoes...? (There are positive reviews on their site). And then All Saints,... the guy in the store wears his all the time and it's comfy (for a year) but he'd obviously had to resole them?) and then there's a lot of disparaging comments about the quality of their shoes here on the forums... but other than that it seems really hard to find reviews of their shoes online. and I can't seem to find really any reviews of River Island's quality. Dr Martens are pretty much positive reviews across the board... but I'd kinda like something with a more slender look.
