I actually found the movie pretty funny, and Ewan McGregor was great as always. Not the comedy of the year or anything, but surely not a stinker.

I just about had a sartorial orgasm when he unveiled the dozens of shirts in white, light blue, and pale pink. His formal wear was good, but I would have liked to see a peaked lapel or two personally. (Probably would work better for Ewan's physique as well.) The suits were nice, but there was one that I didn't really like much, or maybe it was what he wore it with. I can't remember now.

This is actually one of my fave movies. I love MacGreggor's wardrobe, esp the electric blue sharkskin suit in the beginning as well as the "Zip Martin" outfit he's wearing when "Zip" first meets Nancy. David Hyde Pierce is no slouch either with his 3 piece. Catcher Block's outfits are probably "out there" for the typical SF forumite, but I like where he's coming from and would wear every single one.

I loved David Hyde Pierce's outfits, and Sarah's Paulson's.

But best of all is the wonderfully oversaturated fake-Technicolor effect. Makes all the brightly coloured clothing "pop".

I was digging the sportcoats and turtlenecks. I'll have to rent it again just for sartorial inspiration. Pretty classy style overall.

I really dig the turtleneck/trouser look he was 'dancing' in during the short montage scene of him and Barbara Novak doin the town. That short bit shows that guys *can* look great in turtlenecks (in reference to the turtleneck thread from a few weeks back). this is one of those movies that we watch on a regular basis, probably 1x/month
