I was channel surfing and came across Bargain Hunt on BBC America. The host, David Dickinson, was wearing a tan SB suit with peak lapels that pointed downwards. Here are some examples of the DB version.

I searched the forum and could only find this post from J back in 2006 of a Chester Barrie coat with similar peak lapels.

Is anyone familiar with this style? Was it a bespoke option?

Chorse is absolutely correct here.
There was an Oxxford coat or jacket in a thread on this forum that had those same features. Ugly as sin.
Do Not Want.
The guy you quoted in your pics has got horrible taste. He wears the most ghastly glasses I have seen on television, worse than Dame Edna.

Those are not peak lapels pointed downward. If you will notice the jackets have a notch lapel shape and it is the collar that is pointed.
