I've found that I only like shoes with a double leather sole. I'm a pretty big guy, and I have it in my head that single soles look too dainty on a man my size. I'm sure people will object to that generalization, but I can't shake it.
Anyway, I see a lot of shoes I like that come with single soles. But because of my phobia, I can't buy them. Would a shoe look weird if I took it to a cobbler to have an additional sole added?
