Double-Sided cufflinks

I like the way these look. Not necessarily the same design on both sides, but i'm just not a fan of that thin clasp that most cufflinks have as fasteners. Also, unless you are posing, its not like both sides of your wrist aren't equally exposed.

So...where can I find some affordable double sided links? By the way, i'm not necessarily talking about snap links. Any cufflinks where you dont have to spread the back out in order to fasten it it will do.

Most of my cufflinks have been purchased on ebay. I have a few pairs from antique malls as well. You can get very good deals on vinage cufflinks. Double sided cufflinks at retail are often much more than I can get a good vintage set for.

do you have particular sellers on ebay that you can recommend? i really don't care about name brands when it comes to cufflinks. in fact, i find myelf admiring the vintage ones more so than the bling-bling-ers.

Perhaps you would like to consider this eBay seller:-

whome I've found to be honest and reliable, plus pays proper personal attention to the buyer.

I also like double sided cuff links. I have purchased several antique sets on eBay and have not yet been disappointed.

One thing to watch is the size of the cuff link compared to the opening in your shirt. I bought a newer pair of double sided links and found they wouldn't go through the opening in my shirt. Likewise if the opening is too wide it is easy to walk around with the shirt cuff undone.

Finally when buying antique double sided pairs look carefully. Women's cuff links were commonly double sided and you can end up with a pair. I accidentally bought one pair of women's but still wear then from time to time.

Keep an eye on doscalfees, although they don't have anything on at the moment. There's also cufflinkking, who (oddly) also doesn't have anything listed right now.

Really, I rarely search cufflinks on ebay by seller. I think the way to turn up real hidden gems is to spend the time to run differen key word searches, but ultimately just to browse the cufflink category. You'll get a better feel for the market that way, too.

Lucky Strike, I really like the top lot you got. I've been trying to cut back on cufflink purchases, although I've got a couple in my watched items right now.

I concur. Whithin a few weeks last year, I was able to get quite a collection, although I have now ceased to pruchase (I have more links than FC shirts, I'll wait until I get a few more shirts). A good way to have good tips is to ask Alan for adresses he doesn't wish to bid on. That way he gets to cut down on expenses and you get a foothold in the market

I once saw a pair of '40s Cartier cufflinks that were in the shape of miniature bullets, very whimsical. The other side was a small cannonball.

Does anyone know what make sells cufflinks that have little gap between the two sides?

I find that there is too much room in almost all mof my links and open up the shirt sleeves a bit too much.

That's the nature of the beast, any closer and they'd be a bear to put on.

Another inexpensive option is Treasuredfinds.com. They have a few styles of double-sided links. The pair I have is on the small side, but the price is very reasonable.

These are the ones I have:
