I asked my favorite outlet store owner to order me a double breasted Canali and he told me "No one is making double breasted suits anymore."
Have I just been fed a line? To me a double-breasted suit is about the most classic, timeless suit a man could purchase.

Funny, this year I saw DB's from everyone, including Armani, Brioni, Gucci, Kiton, Versace, YSL RG, and Zegna.

Don't know specifically about Canali, but I suspect they have something.

    Peace,

    JG

Thanks Joe, I suspect that he can't get ahold of any, so to him no one is making them anymore. He has good deals but he's not the most honest guy in the world.

i can't BELIEVE someone told you 'no one is making them anymore'... cripes.. what a crock. double breasted suits are not only in every magazine (esp. the classic 6 on 2, which is the better variety, in my book), but have been around since the early 1900s, if not sooner.. they aren't going anywhere.
