Double Breasted Suits. Gangsta or not?

What do you guys think of double breasted suits? I have a sweet RLPL DB pinstripe suit and RLPL nailhead DB suit that I don't wear very often for fear of looking like a pimp or Bugsy Siegel. What do you think?

Personally, I loved it. A major criticism is lack of character development. It's there, but it's just more subtle than most movies these days. Of course there are historical changes for it to work in a movie, but I still liked it. I preferred it in later viewings when these had time to sink in and it grew on me.

Long story short, you'll either love it or hate it. Either way, I think the cinematography was great.

And of course the wardrobe is beyond excellent, and worth watching it for whether you like the movie or not.

I love double breasted suits! I just hope you know how things should fit. If not it it quite easy to end up looking fat in a DB. More so than in single breasted.

My BBGF DB required much more work from my tailor to make it fit than any SB suit...ever!! My new mainline Zegna deep blue pinstripe DB came in today....and goes for surgery tomorrow. The coat has a lot more dimentions to keep in sync when trying to alter it.

I have these as well, the nailhead is brown and three piece and the other is a very bold chalkstripe in blue, 3 piece as well. Total gangster and totally awesome. I love them. LOL.
