Love it. Time for the 6 to 1 to come back.
Thanks mate! This one was from The Rake Tailored Garments. Fabric is a lightweight VBC wool. Took a chance on the 6-1 with this and a navy blazer (also from RTG) ... It’s growing on me, I must say.

I've pulled an old Corneliani 6 to 1 navy blazer out of mothballs lately. It's from the 90's and, with my recent weight loss, fits me perfectly again. I had some amazing enamel and brass four hole buttons from Tender Buttons put onto it in the early 00's. I'm debating whether to sink the money into it to have the shoulders unpadded and naturally fitted and the overall fit tweaked a bit.

I should probably post it on SF and see what the cognescenti have to say.

BTW, I started a thread about 6 to 1 blazers based on this Rake article that died a quick death. I'll repost the link here.

Nice.

Look forward to seeing it!

How do you guys feel about only buttoning the last button vs the more tradition middle button on a 6x2?

Takes a bit of getting used to, but I’ve found the Rake’s 6-1 cut to be flatteringly masculine.

I usually button the middle one only, but I occasionally button the last one only. Just call it sprezz.

Emerald Green DB suit...
late response—nice photos! I know this would be the ‘correct’ body length for a SB jacket; for this DB jacket I might consider shortening the body just a little. Maybe 0.5”. The closed quarters and high buttons on a DB jacket like this leave a lot of cloth in the bottom half of the jacket. Shortening it a bit compared to a SB balances it out. Just my two cents. You wear it well.

Where did you get it? I love the colour. Also, nice shoes to complement!
Thanks! It was a made to measure by a local clothier, R Douglas, in my hood...

I was thinking green suit last week but it will definitively suit you better!

Thanks Rooster!

I am 6"9, so I wanted a jacket that was shorter, but not short, which I think this achieves.. I did want to place the buttons slightly lower, so I get your point...but I would not shorten the jacket as to throw off the balance of the cut..Thanks!
