A&S are known to cut a 'dramatic' lapel on their DB, Plenty of belly. A strong 30/40's influence to my eye.

    Looks good, if well executed.

Works well with chalkstripes in my opinion.

One advantage is that the stripes become more vertical when aligned with the top part of the lapel edge. That creates some illusion of height (or sveltitude).

^ The suit on the guy in the middle is shockingly bad.

That's pretty standard, if not orthodoxy. No need to worry. That's how I prefer mine get made.

It's a bit tight around his waist and his pants are too short but the suit looks OK.

Agreed. Button pulling badly (looks like it's about to pop right off), pants way too short, jacket too short. Overall, looks like he tried to stuff himsel finto his kid brother's suit.

that DB suit is nothing. That was at MRket and tight suits were de riguer. There is so much "me too-ism" in classic mens clothing right now. I know classic is not like fashion and there are only so many things you can do with a suit and tie but the entire show/booths was two looks, incredibly tight "italian" and vineyard vine/southern prep (critters on everything). Fabio Borrelli was probably the most ridiculously dressed of anyone but so many ankles showing by men wearing suits, sausage casing fits and shoes with big rubber/eva/red brick soles. A few good booths like Ron/Chay were an oasis in the mrket desert. It was truly a big circle jerk and it doesn't bode well for #menswear.

These both look great. Simply wish the images were better.

Been searching for some double breasted-casual looks..

    Thanks for posting them.
    Ciao

^In this case 6, but I think the top row should be a little higher?
