There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is the regular so short on you? Maybe it's actually better, with the sleeve length being better too.

I have not had the chance to try a R yet, but according to the measurements it would be both too short & too large at the chest and waist.
The SOHO is the same length as my Havanas, just to give you an idea.
I will try to make full length pics tomorrow.

Looks like an orphaned suit jacket.

It's the complete suit, unfortunately I think it won't fit me. :(

Silhouette is lovely -- A+. Cloth is OK, but I would prefer it either more greyish or more bluish. Now it's neither fish nor fowl.

Im falling in love with db. As long as they are slim fitting and dont make it look like your wearing a box. I even have a double breasted waist coat from john varvatos. Its a way to stand out in a world of two button suits.

On the weekend I found one DB suit, but I wasn't convinced after all. What do you think?

Shoulders and sleeve length are spot on.

Yeap, I think that with a little waist suppression could work, but for the price I could get a bespoke DB.

Me too. I took the plunge on my first DB with NSM - a dark navy Minnis fresco - and I really like the way it came out. I like how they cover your shirt waist without the need for a vest. And it does stand out but not in a glaring way like a loud windowpane.

I have mentioned this before but I think the NSM double-breasted is the best jacket that they make.

No way. You might be looking at where it hits on his hands but where it hit's on his pants is spot on. Not too long or too short.
Shoulders do have a strange shape though.

agree with Alex-- jacket would look better a bit shorter; that's one of the reason i avoided DB for so long, jackets seemed to be cut longer in a lot of brands.

Maybe 1/2 inch shorter-- but be careful.

Otherwise it looks very nice. If it is comfortable to wear, why not bite?

I haven't tried OTR DBs, but assuming it's true, it's quite puzzling why that's the case. The DB, by it's very style, already looks longer. Plus, since most of us have a natural hunch, it wears as though it were longer without the SB's open quarters to disguise how the coat 'opens'. It'd strike me as being commonsensical to have it at the same length as SBs or even a trifle shorter.

yep-- I think buying tailored clothing in the USA is just challenging overall, unless you're looking at very italian brands. I only own two DBs jackets, one from al Bazar milan and one from boglioli; both are softer shoulders and a trim cut-- but when i tried on a belvest italian blue DB not long ago, it was too loose and long for me.

here are two pics of me wearing the DB-suit.
I know that it is not super-short like the current "fashun" wants us to wear, but I quite like it.
    Any comments welcome.

I will take some pictures with contrasting trousers this week and post them here, too.

Not at all too long. I can't comment on the tailoring details, but the basic proportions look great.
