I thought it was an etiquette thing. Maybe I was misinformed.

Proper etiquette is unbuttoning your jacket when you sit in a single breasted suit and removing your trousers when you sit in a double breasted suit. Read your Emily Post.

Thanks! I am not sure I see anything wrong with them. Maybe, it's the way I was standing or the way the picture is taken. I wear the suit, every now and again, and I can see close normally.

Or maybe you are referring to the cut. There's a bit more "skirting", as is canonical for British cuts. I personally like it this way, as it makes it both more elegant and playful.

How would you rate a double-breasted suit with a massive lapel inspired by Carlos Dormond? Is it too flashy or arrogant to wear in a business setting or formal events? And where do you think it would be appropriate to wear this type of suit?
